Silver Sands Resort  Alan ~ Toronto, Canada
January 2008

Arrival - We arrived last easter in the evening from Toronto. It was our 3rd year travelling to Barbados, but our first time to the Silver Sands. It was the perfect location to enjoy some good surf and as a launching pad to tour the island and see the sights.

Rooms - Rooms were very clean and well appointed. Our ocean view from the patio was excellent...air conditioning? Yes it has it, but no need with the nice winds off the ocean.

Restaurants - Food was great and the servers were very friendly.

Bars - The Rum shop was the place to be on this resort!! Overall the main pool bar was great too, but something to be said for the rum shop after a day in the surf and sun.

Activities - Had a great few days kyte boarding and enjoying the rum shop - what a view and great atmosphere after a day in the surf!!!

Conclusion - All in all this hotel is perfect for the active traveller who is keen to spend a day in the surf our seeing the sights. the ammenities within the grounds are up to par... and did i mention the rum shop??
