Cigars, rum, salsa and Fidel Castro, are the first words come up when you think of Cuba. In the vibrant capital Havana, these images largely will come to life. Havana is a reflection of the real Cuba with its vintage, colonial buildings, squares and temperamental casual nightlife. After the advent of Castro, the city got stuck in the fifties. It is this atmosphere the retro-charm of Havana provides.

In Havana you imagine yourself still in the fifties. Old-timers against the backdrop of pastel-colored houses make the atmosphere and environment directly from the fifties appear to be. Vintage Havana is the key. Mothers shopping with rollers in their hair are no exception, you won’t find commercial advertising and fast food chains are just not there.
