Empedrado 207, Habana Vieja
While on vacation in Havana it is hard to miss and pass up on the Ernest Hemingway heritage sites. Although more famous for itís overpriced bar, la Bodeguita del Medio also is an overpriced restaurant with the advantage that you can soak in the atmosphere while sitting down, which is close to impossible at the bar where ever so often a new load of tourists is dropped off who all want to drink their Mojito in that famous cramped space while figuring out where Fidel putís his signature on the wall. The food - priced between 9 CUC for the Jerked Beef and 15 CUC for the pieces of Swordfish - apparently is not bad at all. El Floridita, the other famous Hemingway hangout located near the Parque Central and Obispo offers more style and authenticity.
