Obispo esquina a Mercaderes
Named after the oldest square in the Historical Center, the Plaza de armas restaurant reveals itself as one of the most attractive spots in Old Havana. This intimate and cozy restaurant also has an excellent view. Specializing in Cuban and international cuisine, the Plaza de Armas proudly serves Ernest Hemingway's favorite dishes, led by the paella Vieja Habana and the Gran Plato Meningway, made with seafood. It also serves superb grilled food and refreshing cocktails.
The restaurant is decorated with photographs of the American writer taken during of his stay in Cuba. The marked intimacy of the lounge makes it a special place in Old Havana. The above features notwithstanding, the stunning and natural Roof Garden surrounding the restaurant, has views overlooking El Morro and La Cabaña fortresses, and beautiful Havana bay.
