A regular spot for businesspeople in the early 20th century (when tables were fitted with phones for local and international calls), this eatery retains the elegance of yesteryear. Table seating (with capacity for 40 people) is available outside, on the lovely arched portico facing Prado. The Caballero de París (Gentleman from Paris), a renowned eccentric who has become part of Havana urban lore, was employed as a waiter here (a relief mural of his likeness is set at the restaurant’s lobby entrance).
Open Hours: Breakfast: 7:00 – 10:30 a.m.
