First time we have gone to an Adult's Only resort and we can't wait to go again.

Your Arrival:
The bus ride from Montego Bay was about 1 1/2 hrs but there was a "refreshment stop", so it was not bad at all. At the resort we had to line up at the desk to check in. There was only two staff on and it seemed to take for ever, and there was some confusion with the paper work, but overall, it was ok. Our baggage was taken to our room for us.

We had what was called an "ocean view" room. Cost a little more and I must say I would not do that again. You are hardly in your room at all. So book a garden view (basic) room and it is just as good.
The room itself was smaller than some resorts, but very clean and well kept. Bathroom is small but makes for a "cozy" time. Showers are great. Shower head and wall jets. Very nice.
There were tiny bugs around the sink area in the bathroom, but they were not a problem. We did find that if you were not out of the room when the cleaning staff came by, that you may not get your towels changed, or room done. But hunt the cleaning staff down and they are more than happy to help. They sprayed some kind of "fog" around sunset,(we assumed for insect control) and it smelled like diesel fumes and hung around the room. But dissippated after about 1/2 hour.

Restaurants and Bars:
The main buffet is great. Not a five star choice, but we didn't care. It was all very good. The Japanese rest. was fantastic. We did not sample the Italian rest but friends told us it was excellant. The bars were typical of any Carribean all inclusive resort. The time you waitied to be served depended on how many people were thirsty. There were lots of wasps around the bars at the tops of the bottles, so be prepared. No one got stung as far as we know.

ALl the beaches, grounds and pools are very clean and constantly maintained by staff.
They strongly suggest to going into the ocean after dark because of the possibility of jelly fish. Good advice as we had a few friends get stung.

Activities on and off the Resort/Hotel:
Lots of tours are offered. Some quite a distance away so plan accordingly. The staff is what makes this place and they are a blast. The nightly entertainment is second to none. And the theme nights were a blast.

Other Comments:
We went towards the end of "lifestyles" week.
As it was our first time, we did not know what to expect, but the other vacationers are all open minded and easy going. No pressure or unwanted advances and you can feel comfortable being as open or private as you want. Our only problem was on our last night at the hot tub, there were more "single" men than couples, and that kind of took away the "sexual energy" that we had felt from the previous nights.

We have been to HedoII twice and have a third visit "home" planned for April. It is truly an experience you will never forget. It is not the fanciest resort by any means, but that is understood and accepted. Everything is spotless and maintained beautifully. But you come here for the experience. To walk around all day in the suit God gave you is too cool! The first visit I was very apprehensive, but it only took about ten minutes and my "outfit" matched all the other guests. There is absolutely no judgemental people there, all shapes and sizes fit in just perfectly, really!! As for the PDAs, just know you will see them. If that offends you, DON'T GO!! It is part of the experience. My husband and I talk about this place 365 days a year, laughing and reminiscing about the wild things we have seen and done. It is an adventure, for sure. As for the theme nights and ladies dress code, don't wear anything that you would wear walking down the street at home. Go wild and adventurous, anythings goes and that is fun!!
As for the lifestyle experience, we are offered many times, but no pressure, we just aren't interested and that is OK, just say no thanks.

Your Arrival:
The bus trip to the resort is 1 1/2 hours. They stop at a place for beer along the way, I would rather just keep going and hurry up and get there. You can book a flight through a private prop plane to get ther faster if you want.

The rooms are exactly as reported, from the 60's motif, but who cares? The mirrors on the ceiling are fun and the beds are comfy.

Restaurants and Bars:
The food is just OK, I understand that it has improved so we will see when we get there in April.

The prude side beach is the best, most of the time you have to have bottoms on. Augustis manicures the beach all day long and is really a character! Several times a day the other resorts come by in their glass bottom boats to gaulk at us, we give them quite a show, that's fun!

Other Comments:
You must understand that this resort is like no other but that is why it is so terrific. Go with an open mind and you will have the time of your life!!
