In Mexico’s Caribbean there is a tiny island just bursting with life – it is Cozumel and the Allegro Cozumel resort. Right on the famous Sand Francisco Beach, two worlds of adventure co-exist: The Fun-in-the-sun beach and the amazing undersea Palancar Reef.

This resort is simply beautiful and amazing, I although have mixed feeling about the place but hey, I am being positive and hope to have a better time next time when I visit here again. I met a lot of nice people on my trip to this place and even when I got to the hotel, I still met nice people including the staff and guests. It is my first time in Mexico and I must say, it is even better than people described it to be. The area, the environment and landscape is just beautiful with the flowers and palm trees to beautify the place, I couldn’t have asked for a more traditional place to be at. The resort has a number of pools I think 4 of them and a swim up bar which is strategically place. The beach is wonderful, beautiful and I can’t begin to describe how beautiful it is and by the way, it has a hot tub in front of it. The beach has crystal clear waters with colorful fishes just off the beach, snorkeling was the most fun activity to engage in. The rooms are amazing, nice space and clean, beds are comfortable and the bathrooms functional. When it comes to the food, everything was perfect; I never had a bad food day during my stay here. The buffet was great and lots of options for your desire, the waiters and servers are amazing. Everyone in the hotel seemed so nice and caring.

We have traveled to this resort three times over the past 6-8 years. we keep on coming back because of the resorts, small, quaint size, and friendly people. it is remote from other hotels. its buildings have only 8 rooms per building and each has an outdoor entrance with a personal hammock by the front door.
food is average, buffet style.
service is good and friendly.
take several cokes to the guys at the check-out place to get a hobby or snorkel gear - and they will let you have them for much longer than normal.
several times in march/april since around 2005
have had many room types, all simular and nice
Restaurants and Bars:
there is a main buffet place. the bar/resturant by the pools, and like two other small bars.
two pools - the big one has tequlia volleyball about twice a week.
grounds are well kept
beach is nice, but as with other resorts in cozumel-the ocean drops off fast (this is a dive island).
Activities on and off the Resort/Hotel:
kids club is good for younger ones,
there is a dive shop
the non-motorized sports equipment is included.
take a taxi (about $10) to the city for some shopping and bars
nice place - had to offer these comments, since there were none here
