Rooms: 5/5 - Bed was massive and comfortable. Room was clean, spacious, and bright. Fridge comes with beer, pop and water that is replaced daily for no charge, Occasionally the Maid missed restocking.
Entertainment can be loud at night, but not loud enough to keep you up. Nice patio.
Pools: 5/5 - Even in dead of winter, 1 pool was heated, clean and comfortable. Adult pool was amazing, with view of beach and Ocean. Never a competition for lounge chairs.
Poolside music: 2/5 - Really not a big deal,
Beach: 5/5 - Massive and gorgeous beach. Tough to wal on sand os very loose. Perfectly safe for long walks in either direction. Some vendors, but will not bug you if you just say "no gracias "
Location: 5/5 - Absolutely perfect location. Area is safe and well developed. Across from La Comber, McDonalds, Starbucks etc. Directly across the road is a great wings establishment called Chiltepeno's, ate their twice, Excellent.
Cabo dolphins is also directly the road.
Food: 4/5 - Breakfast, bacon on every 2nd day, very good omelettes and lunch were good, Dinner is sort of hit and miss - when they try foreign foods (ex. Italian, Chinese), its sometimes not very authentic.
Soups were very good at the buffet, but only beer and wine served, Imanaged a couple off whiskey and soda but they went up to the lobby bar to get.
Others have raved about the a-la-carte, but I found it good not great, there are only two menu's, so you need to book every second day at 8 am in the lobby .
Drinks: 5/5 - They make a very decent Caesar. Have lots of imported stuff Canadian Club seem to be at a premium. You could get just about any concoction you wanted.
Entertainment: 3/5 - Nightly entertainment was highly professional and very impressive for a small resort. Usually have acrobatics, Broadway etc. Sax player was incredible in the 2 piece band, really enjoyed.
Daytime staff also great trivia games and table tennis etc.
Staff: 5/5 - Friendly and always willing to help.
Grounds: 5/5 - Beautifully manicured and clean.
All washrooms were very good, clean and usable, the only one I found fault with was the facility next to the towel shack was not operational/
Wifi: 3/5 - Guest service manager provided me with complimentary WiFi
the wifi is also practically unusable (slow) in the rooms.
Safe this the only resort I have been to in years where you had to pay for your safe
Not for people with any handicap impediment, lots of stairs and elevators were not working.
We arrived early at Los Cabos International Airport had to wait 20 minutes for custom's to open.
Small but very clean
Restaurants and Bars:
1 buffet 1 a la carte, 4 bars
Beach was very nice, soft sand hard to walk in, BLACK FLAGGED every day Sea of Cortez drops off swiftly and swimming is not recommended .
Grounds were very clean.
3 pools, one on roof top ADULT ONLY, 1 heated and 1 unheated.
