We were celebrating our tenth wedding anniversary and decided to stay at Secrets Aura Cozumel. Overall 10/10!!!!

Room Number:
1414

Arrival:
Our flight touched down and we were shuttled (1/2hr. drive) to the resort & welcomed with a cocktail. The staff in the Preferred Lounge were friendly and courteous. Alejandro is the most friendly and helpful receptionist ever, an excellent first impression of the resort. 10/10

Rooms:
Our swim-up room was ready & we noticed "Happy Anniversary" on the door & welcome fruit and a bottle of wine. The room was always kept clean, and stocked with towels, shampoos & toiletries. The fridge was stocked daily with water, soda, beer & juices, as well as snacks (M&M's & Pringles). 10/10

Restaurants and Bars:
We ate at Market Cafe for the International Buffet selection. Antonio & the staff were friendly and prompt in serving us. Barefoot Grill was great for lunch, and Coco Cafe for late evening coffees in the court yard. One evening we ate at SEASIDE GRILL (Sunscape Resort next door) and decided to try the Melted Cheese with Mushroom, Chimichurri Chicken Breast, and Grilled New York Steak. We were disappointed as the chicken had barely any flavour, the steak was cooked rare, and the cheese and mushroom only came with 1 tortilla to dip. We mentioned the steak to the staff and it was corrected. For our private anniversary dinner Sergio was exceptional in serving us. The Room Service menu offered a variety of items to please everyone. We ordered room service several times and it was always on time and fresh. 10/10

Beach/Pools/Grounds:
Our room was part of the lazy river, and we loved it. The beach was always groomed well, and the sand was soft. The water in the pool as well as the beach felt refreshing! One word sums up the grounds ~ immaculate. 10/10

Other Comments:
Staff
Celia Sierra, who is a Romance Coordinator is an asset to the Secrets chain. She coordinated not just our private dinner event, but several weddings during the week we were there. 10/10
