At first look the hotel seems very nice. The structure, the outside pool looks really amazing. But the moment we entered the hotel, we saw that itís falling apart. Itís clear that the manager or the owner should start renovating this hotel. It has a lot of potential in it and maybe a few years back, it was attractive, but donít let the outside look fools you. As soon as you enter your room youíll see what Iím talking about. They are not that bad. They are big with a lot of space, with twin size bed, and if there is something positive about the room is that it was clean. The balcony was ok, not too big and not too small, but the bathroom was a disaster. There's something wrong with the water pressure. Not to say that the water wasnít clean. It was like old rusty water going through the pipes. You canít even have a shower when you need. There is an air conditioner thatís working, but I think that itís about time to change the filters because it fills the room with nasty smell. The TV is working just fine, but I donít think that someone will go on a vacation to watch TV. There is a minibar in the room so you can have something to drink when you want, and if you like it you can ask for a refill. I must say that the pool is great. The water is clean and you donít even have to go to the beach. The hotel bar is working just fine, they serve some nice cocktail and drinks and they are not expensive. The Restaurant is something that they should really upgrade. Especially when it comes to the dinner menu. Poor selection of food is what makes your costumers to go away. There a lot of stuff missing, such as money exchange office (even that in the brochure money exchange office was included). The employees were amazing. They are doing as much as they can to make your vacation wonderful. Just for the record, I donít think that I will suggest to any of my friends to visit this hotel.

The hotel isnít perfect in many ways and I am giving this review because even though I tried not to complain, there are basic things a hotel should be able to provide for the clients who go through the stress of actually visiting and staying in a hotel, the least they can do is provide the basic things the clients will need. I wouldnít blame the hotel a 100% but myself who was busy looking for a cheap place and thinking that the cheap means quality. I do not advise or recommend you to go to this hotel because at best, I will give the hotel a 2 star rating because my experience was not good at all. In as much as everything sucked major time here, the only upside or advantage of this hotel was the fact that the rooms was clean and big and thatís it. They make the worst scrambled eggs I have ever seen or eaten in my entire life and in all my years of traveling to Caribbean countries. Breakfast was terrible so I had to succumb to eating out all the time, stayed for just few days anyway. This place would be great for you if you are going to be spending most of your time outside the hotel, I mean like exploring the city or you are in for a business meeting that you will spend just the night inside. For me, I wonít be coming back here again, renting a bed and breakfast is better.

I stayed in this wonderful resort in March 2014 and stayed here for about 8 days, loved every moment I spent here, basically, I had a great time here. During my stay, there were not many people staying here so something like the breakfast buffet didnít have so many varieties but the food was delicious just the way it was. The rooms were air conditioned and had really comfortable and soft beds so I could relax in them all day and not feel a thing. I also went to the poolside to relax most of the time when I feel bored, basically I really didnít have any boring moments while here because there were lots for me to partake in. I got to take the free ride to the beach which was amazing, there were so many things for me to see which I didnít get to see completely hence the reason I will come back here again for my next vacation. What I enjoyed most in this hotel is the free coach ride to old Havana, it was interesting and I got to see lots of things. I usually walk to the marina and just watch boats, there is a whole new experience I enjoyed during my stay here and I will definitely come back again. The staff here was very helpful, nice and accommodating, they made sure I was comfortable all through my stay here. I enjoyed the pool and the bars as well, the hotel has nice facilities that made my holiday a great one.

I would not stay at Acuario ever again. The rooms are dirty, they restaurant constantly ran out of ice and gas for the soda. The employees are nice and try their best but unfortunately the facility is government owned and is in bad condition. We got three separate rooms and the A/C worked only in one room during the entire stay. Food quality is bad.
On the positive side, the place is safe.
"Not right now."

We booked Club Acuario a month in advance but when we arrived with our voucher we were denied entry. We had stayed there two months before. The reception staff treated us with an unfriendly attitude and disrespect.
I would not book this hotel again.

Congratulations to this hotel. In addition to being a very large, spacious place, and very relaxing, the services are excellent, everybody is very friendly. Great entertainers and hosts, excellent bellboys, greetings to Norberto who was a big help when we arrived. This hotel is far from downtown Havana, but if you are looking for comfort and great customer service this is your best option...really the service is unbeatable, hi to everyone!
