We rented a bachelor suite. The hotel and room are both very clean. The cooking facilities were adequate for what we needed.
Restaurants and Bars:
Their complimentary breakfast was plentiful and good variety. Fresh fruit, cereal, asortment of breads, eggs, homefries, coffee/juice. Very good.
Beach/Pools/Grounds:
Grounds are extremely well kept. Pool seems nice although we did not use it.
Activities on and off the Resort/Hotel:
The hotel offers beach chairs and towels free of charge and no deposit required. They also have no charge safety deposit boxes.
Other Comments:
The location is fantastic, right across the road from 7 mile beach. The bus stop is just outside the hotel. I recommend using buses as they are much cheaper than taxis and they run about every 5-10 minutes. The large grocery store is a five minute walk, the liquor store is at the end of the resort. There is also Capt. Marvin at the end of the resort where you can book tours to Stingray City and other places. The strenght of this hotel is the very friendly and accomodating staff. I highly recommend Sunshine Suites for those that are concerned about their budget and want good clean accomodations.
