I just got back from the Copacabana in Acapulco, Mexico and I must say that I was very disappointed. The all inclusive was not all inclusive. The staff was unfriendly unless you were constantly tipping. The food was very bland and repetitive. The breakfast was lastnights left overs. You had to request the bacon, they hid it. No water was provided in the room and you had to go and purchase your own. We only had one night of entertainment and it consisted of a mexican band playing old italian folk songs!!!!! The a la carte was disgusting and I had to leave it because I couldn't chew the pork it was so hard. The bar closed at 10:00 pm and after that you had to pay for your drinks or they encouraged you to frequent the local discos. Not pleasant for someone who doesn;t like discos or can't dance. We needed some shows to occupy our time. I have been to the RIU's and they are a truly "all inclusive" there was absolutely nothing that you could not have or they did not provide. I do not recomment this shabby americanized cheap resort to anyone and I would never go there again. The other Canadians were also disappointed and said they would never go there again. It is full of old retired ******** just sitting around doing nothing and it is boring. The drinks were only bar drinks (rum, tequila, vodka or beer) nothing different and if you wanted something other than those drinks you had to pay. No espresso coffee, no ice cream or fish at all even the fries were greasy. Don't go there!!!!
