Fiesta Americana GrandShawn and Jenn ~ Canada

January 2007

We stayed at the fiestia americana los cabos oct 14 to the 22 .Airport in los cabos was very stressful we had no idea about the time share people and there must have been about 40 of them in the exit area trying to tell you they could get you to your resort well the best thing to do is just walk past all of them and just before the door there is a small both set up with two girls selling bus tickets to take you to you resort that would have been nice to know before we went ,so from there the bus went and stopped at a small store so you could buy beer good idea. The resort was very nice not a all inclusive and expensive when you look at the prices on the menu the are in pesos so when it says a bottle of water is 90 dollars it was 9 dollars us for a small bottle,at the resort there is a store inside and they sell pop beer and water and all kinds of other things and alot cheaper than buying it at the bar.if you like coffee or tea its 15 dollars us in you room for the little package so we joined the gym each day for 10 dollars and had free coffee ,bottled water and fruit and donuts and could go back anytime in the day to get it ,there resort is a little confusing layout until you get used to it the lobby is on top and then you go down to get to you rooms as it is built in the side of a hill .

The resort staff were great always somebody going around pools and beach serving drinks and food .great food at all restaurants and could get food delivered to you at the beach or pool area .ocean very rough went in once and cut hands on rocks they actually came and asked us to get out of the water said it wasn't safe under tow very strong.had 5 pools and all very nice with water falls hot coves in them .they had hot tubs around the resort but weather was very hot as you can see if you look at the temps in my pictures .golf course next to resort but didn't golf was 400 us a round ,we did the 4 wheeler trip which was nice went along the coast and on some sand dunes and then came back through the dessert and saw some neat things like a snake that was around 8 feet long and when it went in the bushes the guide tried to get it out so we could all get some pictures.we did a sunset cruise around the arch which was nice and we did a catamaran snorkelling adventure take some bananas with the fish go crazy over them,we went into town and went to the cabo wabo bar and that was great a must do go to one of the bars in town would recommend the los cabos area and the resort which wasvery nice but for the money would probably do a all inclusive next time. any questions please email me at dayteksk@hotmail.com
