| Rooms |
| We booked a partial ocean view deluxe room. When registering we found out our room was on the main floor facing a brick wall. An extra $30.00 per night to have a view. All people we spoke with were also given the worst view accomodations. The hotel has this scam going. They can advertise what they want, but you arrive there and it is a different story. Very unhappy. |

| Restaurants and Bars |
| The "timeshare" owners had a private breakfast buffet. The rest of us had to eat at the "other buffet". A number of nights per week, there are special dinner galas for the "TS" owners. We need to find other spots to eat |

| Beach/Pools/Grounds |
| The entertainment pool side is extremely amateur. There is no quite time around the pool. |

| Activities on and off the Resort/Hotel |
| Be very careful renting a car. We were touring around LaPaz and were prime targets for the policia. $100.00 US for apparent excess speed. Do you argue NO...... |

| Other Comments |
| After taking a whale watch tour, the boat broke down and we were stuck out on the ocean after dark, soaking wet. Not fun............. We returned from that, no clean towels in the room, called housekeeping and our camera disappeared from the room. We did not have a memorable vacation. Do not book at the Royal Solaris. |
