Garden Cottage reviews - Saba, Windwardside

Garden Cottage - Saba Not Rated
Description: Garden Cottage is on Booby Hill. While it is just a short walk to the center of Windwardside (where most of Saba's shops and restaurants are located), the Cottage removes you from the traffic noise of the main road and the hubbub of commerce and evening entertainment in Windwardside. While cozy enough for two, the cottage can accommodate four. It has two air-conditioned bedrooms; a large living room/dining room with satellite TV, DVD/CD player, comfortable furniture (w/ recliners); fully equipped kitchen; sun room/den has walls of windows with Caribbean and Mt. Scenery views; and a stunning bathroom including a light airy tiled shower with huge sliding windows offering both Caribbean and garden views.

Garden Cottage - SabaLynda & Don --- Canada
April 2003

We recently spent an idyllic week at Garden Cottage on the island of Saba. The house is beautiful, well-kept and fully equipped. The lovely pool is surrounded by potted palms and tropical flowering plants and the view of the Caribbean is superb. There is a colourful tropical garden in the back. The only problem is there isn’t enough time to sit in all the inviting spots at this house.

From the house it’s a short walk downhill to the village of Windwardside for restaurants, groceries, banking. This is a grand spot to spend a week eating good food, reading, relaxing, drawing and soaking up calm. There are excellent hiking trails when you feel the need for exercise.

Our arrangments to rent the cottage were done efficiently and easily by e-mail and snail-mail with the owner, Lynn Franzson, who was most accommodating.

We highly recommend Garden Cottage.
