Departed Toronto, Canada on the last Skyservice charter to Antigua. Transferred to Liat with no problems.
Stayed in a beautiful villa at Calpyso Bay Resort in Frigate Bay. Minutes from the beach.
Enjoyed snorkelling at Whitehouse Bay and then kayaking to South Friars Bay with Turtle Tours. Highly recommend it.
Spent afternoons liming at Inon's Beach Bar located at Frigate Bay next to Dolce Cabana.
Inon is very friendly and provides banana boat rides, snorkelling, boat trips to nevis, island water tours and ice cold drinks. "Best little shack on the beach".
Enjoyed dining at the following restaurants:
PJ's Bar & Restaurant located next to Island Paradise, Frigate Bay. Large portions, delicious pasta and pizza, owners Pat & Jude are very hospitable, and prices are reasonable.
Bucky's Beach Bar located at Majors Bay (next to the barge) Gourmet dining with your feet in the sand. St. Kitts best kept secret! Enjoyed the bonfire after dinner.
A week in St. Kitts would not be complete without a visit to Turtle Beach. Great food, breathtaking views of Nevis, rented equipment to do a some snorkelling. They have an addition to the family. As well as Wilbur the pig and Tarzana the monkey, they now have Capacinno the resident goat. Big hit with the children. Great place to spend a Sunday afternoon!!
I have been to St. Kitts numerous times (I have family there), and this has been one of my favourite trips.
Beautiful, laid back island, friendly and helpful locals, safe, with a variety of activities to keep you busy.
