We stayed at an owner's condo booked via Vacation Rentals by Owner (property number 139105) at Ocean Club West from August 13 to the 20th, and could not possibly have enjoyed it more! Everything he includes in his description of the unit on the VRBO website is absolutely true, but even the most detailed description can't do it justice. He has taken great pains to anticipate nearly every reasonable need his guests may have and to accommodate them.
The unit was clean, comfortable, and wonderfully appointed. The Ocean Club West property is easily the nicest on Grace bay, as regards the landscaping, the pool, and the beach. We walked up and down the beach and inspected the beach and pool areas and landscaping at the other properties, and they all paled in comparison. And among the units at OCW, you'll find none nicer than Keith's.
The ground floor location of his unit is as close as you can get to the pool, the beach, and the club's cafe. The huge, screened in patio with two ceiling fans overlooks the beautifully landscaped grounds and was one of our favorite places to sit and "chill". The dual sliding glass doors open to their full width, which essentially opens the entire wall of the unit to the sea breeze, if you like. If air conditioned comfort is more to your liking, the central air system is quiet and very efficient. In either case, two ceiling fans in the condo keep you abundantly cool.
The well-equipped kitchen has everything you could possibly need to prepare everything from your favorite frozen cocktail to a full meal, and dining tables are provided inside the unit and on the patio for your dine-in pleasure.
A large screen TV with DVD player and Cable TV service is provided, as well as a brand new computer with cable broadband internet service. One telephone provides a means for calling back to the USA free and for friends and relatives from the USA to call you via a NYC number, avoiding international charges. A second has a local number so businesses and newfound friends on Provo can reach you without calling long distance.
The king size bed was very comfortable, and the bedlinens as well as the towels in the bathroom were very nice. Trust us, you won't want for anything while staying there - open a drawer or a cabinet and you're likely to find just about anything you could need.
The condo is within walking distance to alot of restaurants and 2 small shopping centers. You'll need a car to go to the IGA and Wine Cellar.
We really enjoyed Caicos Cafe, Salt Mills Cafe, DaConch Shack, Aqua Terrace, Hole in the Wall, Tiki Hut, and the Seaside Cafe. Too many restaurants, so little time. Grace Bay Car Rentals did a great job for us. They met us at the airport with our car and had easy drop off instructions.
Be sure and go snorkeling by the Coral Gardens. May be the best snorkeling on Provo with lots to see. Caicos Dream Tours did a great snorkel/conch tour.

We have stayed at Ocean Club Resort on Provo and have gone 3 times now with a 4th trip in the planning. It is fabulous. A wonderful quiet place to rest and relax. Grace Bay was nominated beach of the Year for 2006 by the World Tourism conference held in Europe last year. This year their conference was on the Turks and Caicos. Absolutley magnificant place to visit.
